It has become apparent that the market exists for a sensibly priced 3-4 stall horsebox with living space. Our increasingly popular 'Field' Range of horseboxes are priced at a level similar to a lot of considerably older second hand boxes. It however offers the huge advantages over these vehicles of being built on a newer, more powerful, more reliable and easier to drive chassis than the ubiquitous Bedford Tk/TL or old shape Ford Cargo. A new box also gives the purchaser the peace of mind of knowing that major repairs (e.g. floor or ramp replacement) will not be required for many years.

In summary, we have made it possible to purchase a newer, more reliable and easier to drive box for a similar price to many second hand lorries. These vehicles also offer the additional advantages of reduced maintenance costs and a high residual value.

We typically build 'Field' Boxes on the tried and tested 150 bhp Ford / Iveco Eurocargo or the 130 bhp Leyland Daf 45 Series. We are happy to source chassis for our customers or build on a chassis provided for us by the customer. 'Field' Boxes are constructed from box section steel and are clad in aluminium. They are lined with plywood (with stockboard in the horse area to 4 feet). Living Space, Bed Space above the cab, internal lights, saddle racks and grooms seat are provided as standard. Maintenance costs are greatly reduced by retaining the ability to tilt the cab. All boxes are fitted with galvernised steel herringbone partitions.

2 Main Models are produced, with many options for each model. Each box can be further tailored to individual needs as required.

Option 1 - (without side skirts, steps and lockers) - 2 stall £12,500.00, 3 stall £13,500.00

Option 2 - (with side skirts, steps and lockers) - 2 stall £14,000.00, 3 stall £14,500.00
